Women in Games and Nordic Game announce partnership for NG25 Spring and beyond.

On the afternoon of 21 May, the second day of NG25 Spring, Women in Games will host the event Fika & Fizz at the Slagthuset venue of the Nordic Game conference.

“I’m very happy to announce this renewed partnership with WiG. Women in Games has been present at and partners with Nordic Game for many years, and we’ve always had the shared mission of getting more women into game development. Thus it’s fantastic to reveal this new and strong format for gatherings, which we hope will be the premier of a long-lasting tradition at our conference”, comments Nordic Game’s Program Director Jacob Riis.

“The Women in Games Cake & Fizz networking event has taken place sucessfully at Develop:Brighton in the U.K. for a number of years now and is hugely popular with delegates and our community. We are excited to be taking this event on tour in 2025, and delighted to be working with the Nordic Game team to host our first Fika & Fizz event this May, and look forward to bringing together women and allies attending Nordic Game from across the region and beyond for an afternoon of connections and inspiration”.
