That is clear from the official game Charts of the most successful newly released PC and console games for the first half of 2026 in Germany. Top spot goes to the survival horror game ‘Resident Evil Requiem’ (Capcom), in which players must fend off terrifying creatures in iconic locations from the ‘Resident Evil’ universe. In second place is the racing game ‘Forza Horizon 6’ (Microsoft), whose open world invites players to thrilling car races in Japan. About the charts
The game Charts for the first half of 2026 comprise the games sold most often in Germany across platforms – both physically and digitally – for PC and game consoles, released between January and the end of June 2026. The rankings are based on Games Sales Data (GSD), a platform operated on behalf of Video Games Europe. In Germany, alongside sales at retailers, publishers also report sales from digital sales platforms such as the Nintendo eShop, PSN, the Xbox Store and Steam to GSD. Digital sales of Nintendo titles from the Nintendo eShop, as well as of the title ‘Crimson Desert’, are not included.
