First NG23 Spring speakers revealed
Nordic Game has revealed the first speakers in the conference line-up for our upcoming show, NG23 Spring on 23-26 May, online and on-stage at Slagthuset in Malmö, Sweden.
This May’s program offers high quality conversations, presentations, panels and workshops, addressing some of the most current, important and relevant topics within our industry. More than 130 industry profiles will be in place and ready to share their insights – here are three profiles from the first roster of NG23 Spring speakers:

Bergur Finboggason, CCP (IS)
The creative director of EVE Online will be on-stage in the theatre at Slagthuset with a talk about the 20-year history of the world’s most legendary sci-fi sandbox MMO, EVE Online. Entitled “The Unexpected Turns That Led to a Titan: EVE Online”, this is not-to-be-missed if you’re interested in the proud history of the Nordic games industry, and the fantastic journey of an Icelandic game studio giant which has had a significant impact on the global industry.
Clara Sia, Devolver (US)
Clara manages influencer strategy and relations to help elevate the reach of Devolver’s published games before a global audience through a holistic approach. She is also involved with reviewing game pitches and does independent consultations for developers. At NG23 Spring, Clara will meet with a yet-to-be announced Nordic lead for a conversation about how to optimise your work with influencers. Stay tuned for details about Clara’s conversation partner very soon!
Tomas Sala (NL)
Tomas is the creator of BAFTA-nominated The Falconeer, and he’s very passionate about games as art. At NG23 Spring, he will be talking about AI and art, in the intriguingly dubbed session “Breaking the prison, how art will save you! (from your AI overlords and yourself)”. This will be “a journey into artistic evolution and signature. Taking note of the power of creative meanderings and unconstrained exploration, as well as rigid creative limitations to be both free and productive. And hopefully a stump for how our signatures as artists are the untapped resources we need in a industry hellbent on disregarding them.”
These are just some of the brilliant people and talks waiting for you at NG23 Spring. The speaker roster will continue to grow in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for more!
