Virtual Dawn (Finland) with their game Five-Star: Chef Ops
At Epicenter on Friday, 29 November, three talented teams competed live on stage in the Nordic Game Pitch Battle, concluding NG23 Helsinki, Nordic Game’s annual autumn event in the Finnish capital and this year’s official Slush games industry side event.
The contestants in the pitch competition, organised with support of Xsolla Funding, were Broken Cane (Finland) with Aris Arcanum, GAMECR3W/Diehard Studios (Czechia) with Son of the Dragon King and Virtual Dawn (Finland) with Five-Star: Chef Ops, selected from a pool of more than 40 game developers, all participating in NG23 Helsinki.
Winners Virtual Dawn, represented by studio lead Antti Martikainen, did a great job presenting their upcoming VR title Five-Star: Chef Ops to the judges in Helsinki, including industry expert Patrick Rose, Neogames chief business advisor Suvi Latva and Xsolla Funding BD manager and indie specialist Nathan Sölbrandt.
