DreamWorks Animation unveils its new productions at Annecy!
DreamWorks will present the first shots of its upcoming films, featuring Abominable, a co-production with Pearl Studio, which is scheduled to be released in the US in September and in France on 23rd October. This film was written and directed by Jill Culton, produced by Suzanne Buirgy and co-directed by Todd Wilderman. Following excerpts from the studio’s 2020 releases – Trolls World Tour, first shots of the feature film presented by director Walt Dohrn –, the programme will conclude with the World Première of Marooned, a short directed by Andy Erekson and produced by Jeff Hermann.

Abominable
Abominable takes audiences on an epic 2,000-mile adventure from the streets of China to the breathtaking Himalayan snowscapes, when teenage Yi (Chloe Bennet, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) encounters a young Yeti on the roof of her apartment building.
Marooned
In this stylized look of the not too distant future, Marooned tells the story of a cantankerous and selfish robot named C-0R13. Stranded on an abandoned lunar outpost, C-0R13 longs to return to Earth. With a partially built ship and his last power source, this determined robot will stop at nothing to achieve his goal. His character and his mission will be put to the test when he learns what it truly means to be selfless.
Trolls World Tour
Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake return in an all-star sequel to DreamWorks Animation’s 2016 musical hit: Trolls World Tour. In an adventure that will take them well beyond what they’ve known before, Poppy (Kendrick) and Branch (Timberlake) discover that they are but one of six different Troll tribes scattered over six different lands and devoted to six different kinds of music: Funk, Country, Techno, Classical, Pop and Rock.
Their world is about to get a lot bigger and a whole lot louder. Trolls World Tour is directed by Walt Dohrn, who served as co-director on Trolls, is produced by returning producer Gina Shay, and features new characters voiced by Kelly Clarkson and Sam Rockwell.
