DreamWorks Animation “Puss in Boots 2”

The animation blockbuster “Puss in Boots 2” created by DreamWorks Animation will be officially released in mainland China on December 23, 2022.

“Puss in Boots ” sequel “Puss in Boots 2” has been announced. After 11 years, the classic animated image of Puss is bound to bring up a massive wave of childhood nostalgia.

In “Puss in Boots 2”, the always daring “lawless maniac” Puss has “used up” eight of his lives. In order to pay the price for his mindlessly squandered lives, he sets foot on an adventure to find the eight lives lost.

After many years of travel, unconsciously, Puss who once didn’t care about life’s trifles has squandered away eight out of nine of his lives and is no longer fearless. Puss decides to be a docile domestic cat under Mama Luna’s shelter. By chance, he learns of a wish star in the black forest, which can meet any desire. Hearing this, Puss immediately embarks on a journey to regain his lost dignity and life.

Disguised as a domestic pet, Puss lives with the kind Mama Luna to avoid his enemies. Here, he not only gets the adorable nickname “small cucumber”, but also meets a sloppy, happy-go-lucky dog called Perro. In the subsequent journey, in addition to viewers’ favourites Puss and Kitty Softpaws, Perro the dog joins their party to form the hero trio! Despite the fact that Perro and the two heroic cats seem to be from different dimensions, the two cats and the dog are in the same boat on a legendary adventure and will work together to break through many barriers. The enemies they will face are also revealed in this trailer – the staff-wielding, conniving blonde Goldi, the vicious and destructive Bear family and the greedy bounty hunter Big Bad Wolf. The action-packed scenes will leave you wanting for more, as Puss and his companions go head-to-head with the villains! Brave Puss is not afraid to take on the enemy, and with more responsibility on his shoulders, he is sure to deliver a surprisingly impressive performance!

Originally a character from the Shrek series, Puss in Boots has since become a true star in the world of cats, as a result of his popularity. In the new trailer, Puss’s heroic aura remains, but the difficulties and challenges he faces become more and more daunting.
