Leading Actor of Disney’s New Movie “Stargirl” Designated, Once Playing in “Fargo”

Disney’s new film Stargirl announced the leading actor: 16-year-old Graham Verchere (the good doctor, Fargo) . The leading actress is Grace VanderWaal, the girl who won the champion of America’s Got Talent and plays Ukulele.
Directed by Julia Hart and adapted from Jerry Spinelli’s best-selling novel of the same name, the film tells the story of a “strange” girl who is unfettered like Jonathan Livingston Seagull and has her own beliefs. She can play ukulele and sing for each classmate on their birthdays.
In 2015, former US President Barack Obama was photographed to buy this book for his daughter, which resulted in the its popularity. Leo Borlock, played by Verchere, met Stargirl played by VanderWaal during the confusion of the adolescence.
The film is also one of the first films to be released by Disney’s own Newmedia Platform.
