Date Change for 2026

On 17th June, the President of the French Republic announced that the next G7 Summit will be held in the Haute-Savoie on the dates that were originally scheduled for the 2026 Annecy International Animation Film Festival and Market.
This major international event will result in exceptional demands on local infrastructures as of the beginning of June, which will include significant impacts on transport, accommodation and security issues.
In order to ensure that we are able to host and organise our event to the highest standards, we have had to take the exceptional decision to postpone the dates.
The 2026 edition will therefore be held from 21st to 27th June 2026, and the Mifa from 23rd to 26th June.
We are already in direct contact with the organisers of events scheduled for the same period so that we can adapt the programming of our respective events more effectively and provide support to all the professionals who are affected by this alteration.
We are grateful for your understanding.
