Craft Your Mushroom Army in Beyond the Grove During Steam Next Fest

Not a Duck is proud to present Beyond the Grove, a charming RTS-inspired autobattler where your Golems are your best friends. As the young Grove Keeper, you must protect your grove to take on mysterious forces that threaten the world beyond it. With mushroom warriors, elemental Golems, and your brainpower, you must adapt to each battle to put a stop to the corruption.

After receiving 2nd place in the Most Promising category at the Game Development World Championship this summer, future Grove Keepers can expect to get their first taste of what’s Beyond the Grove during Steam’s October Next Fest. From October 13th through 20th, players will be able to play the demo and put their Golem crafting to the test. As you build your elemental Golem troops, enjoy a wonderful new musical score that comes alive as each newly created troop adds to the beautiful soundtrack on display. Your forces might look cute, but they are mighty in their numbers and are the key to disrupting the corruption that looms.

Key Features:

• Strategic Combat: Strategize your army to maximize your victory. Place down rally markers, create Golems, and watch them get to work. Outsmart your enemies whenever you get the chance to adjust your troops’ positioning and composition.
• Golem Crafting: You won’t get far in Beyond the Grove without your Golems. There are over 50 distinct Golems, forged by combining seven elemental types. Different combinations are a must to overcome the corruption.
• Retreat and Grow: Blessings are powerful traits that enhance the abilities of your troops. With over 100 of them available, you’ll need to use them wisely if you find yourself facing defeat. Regroup after upgrading and coming up with a new gameplan so that you can continue the fight!
