Cozy Hit OUTBOUND Global Launch Moved to May 14

The Dev team prioritise quality, ensuring a polished journey for players across all platforms
Today, Silver Lining Interactive and Square Glade Games are announcing a difficult decision: the global release of Outbound has been moved from its original April 23rd date to May 14th.
Following the incredible reception of the recent demo across all platforms, the development team has identified specific bumps on the virtual road that require immediate attention. To ensure a satisfying, “cozy” experience for every player—regardless of their platform of choice—the team has made the hard call to take a few extra weeks for final tuning and polish.
A Message from the Outbound Team
“We’ve had to make the difficult decision to delay Outbound to May 14th. Late in the process, an issue has been identified that could negatively impact your enjoyment of the game. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough time to still guarantee a release across all platforms on the originally planned date. Please be assured that our team has worked extremely hard to address this and did everything possible to stay on schedule. We know that you may be disappointed by this news, but appreciate your understanding and believe the delay will result in a more polished, bug-free experience.
As a small thank-you for your patience, we’ll be keeping the free demo available for longer on selected platforms until May 12th. Let’s hit the road with a full launch on May 14th!”
Demo Available Until May 12 on Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X/S
