In a recent community vote, fans selected which features they wanted to see next—and now, Under a Rock has unveiled one of its most anticipated gameplay elements: combat.

In this untamed world, survival means facing prehistoric threats with nothing but primitive weapons and quick reflexes. The latest footage showcases a fierce battle against Neanderthals, a new hostile faction that aggressively defends its territory. Players must master skill-based dodging, precise shield blocks, and counterattacks using an arsenal of handcrafted clubs, spears, axes, and bows.

The combat in Under a Rock is raw and intense, demanding sharp timing and tactical thinking. Enemies move fluidly with unique attack patterns, ensuring every encounter feels distinct and dangerous. Each swing, dodge, and parry carries weight, creating a system where reaction speed and weapon mastery mean the difference between life and death.
