About IDFA

IDFA selects approximately 300 titles every year in 10 competitions, a wide range of non-competitive program sections, and an expansive new media program with works showcased in a physical exhibition or as experimental live performances. With locations across Amsterdam, the festival welcomes some 295,000 visitors, including 3,300 industry professionals and 40,000 school children, making it the world’s largest and most influential documentary film and new media festival.

As we enter our 33rd year, we look forward to receiving your documentary films and non-fiction art.
