Series of deals penned range from true crime dramas to battlefield retrospectives
Breakthrough Entertainment proudly announces its sale of exciting programming, including popular crime, horror, thriller and docu-series, to countries and new audiences around the world.
After acquiring Seasons 1 and 2, Canal Plus (Discovery Channel – Poland) has acquired an all new third season of the factual docu-series Resilient Cities (16×30’). The show delves into the underground art scene in chaotic cities recovering from major traumas and uncovers how young local artists impact their communities by harnessing their art as a form of protest, an agent of change and a display of courage.
In the Middle East, after acquiring all rights to I’ll Take Your Dead, Prime Pictures launched a successful theatrical campaign for the horror film, which features 2018’s TIFF Rising Star Jessica Salgueiro. The film follows a farmer who makes his living disposing of dead bodies left on his land by a vicious gang, when one day he discovers a young woman is still alive. As they begin to develop an unusual respect for each other, the woman’s murderers get word that she’s still alive and make a plan to finish what they started.
I’ll Take Your Dead was also sold to Turner Lat Am giving Latin American Horror fans an opportunity to check out this riveting film.
European sales include Hollywood Homicide (Telewizja Polsat – Poland), Greatest Tank Battles (Ceska Televize – Czech Republic), Sex, Lies & Murder and I Lived with a Killer (A&E UK).
North American sales include a David Rocco series (total of 59 episodes to Ovation TV in the US), I Lived with a Killer (TVA Quebec) and Sex, Lies, & Murder (Bell Quebec).
