Blake Shelton Voices in “Trolls” and Dubs its Soundtrack
Blake Shelton joined the new animation “UglyDolls” by STX, participated in the voicing and dubbed the soundtrack. Before him, singers Kelly Clarkson, Pitbull (Armando Christian Perez) and Nick Jonas had joined.
Shelton dubbed Ox, who was the unofficial village chief of the uglydolls village, and Clarkson dubbed Moxy.
Inspired by the hit toy of the same name, the animation’s characters will confront the dilemma of life, figure out what their distinct appearance means, they are eager to be loved, and finally realize that they do not need to be perfect to be impressing, keep the true self is what matters most.
Directed by Robert Rodriguez (“Sin City”, “From Dusk Till Dawn”), the film will be released in North America on May 10, 2019.
