ARTE expands its video games catalog with two new titles
ARTE unveils two new narrative games, Unmaze and Inua. Two teasers revealed
Arte, publisher and co producer, with Upian and Hiver Prod are proud to announce their new game, Unmaze, a new kind of interactive visual novel, set to be released by summer 2021 for iOS and Android.
Inspired by greek mythology and the myth of the Minotaur, Unmaze lets the player play as Ariadne in her quest to save Asterion and Theseus, two young men lost in the labyrinth, and help them find their way out of the maze.

The player can communicate with them using the light sensor of his phone. Unable to help both Asterion and Theseus at the same time, the player will have to switch between the two of them. But the more time he spends with one, the more danger the other will be in. If he is in the dark, the player will be able to help Asterion find the exit. If he plays in the light, however, he will guide Theseus out of the labyrinth.
Independent studios Iko and The Pixel Hunt, as well as co-producer and publisher ARTE are also proud to announce their new narrative puzzle game, Inua, planned for PC and Mac.
Inua tells the story of the great polar bear, Nanurluk. Separated from her cubs by the madness of men, it is up to the player to help her in her quest to restore harmony to the world. He will follow Taïna, Peter and Simon, 3 characters separated by decades but whose destinies are mysteriously linked.

To do so, he will have to unravel the space and time to solve puzzles and guide the characters. Each level is composed of several scenes taking place in the same place, but at different times. Co-written by an Inuit author, the original scenario of Inua is inspired by Inuit mythology, and based on the story of the Franklin expedition: a real British expedition sent to explore the Arctic in the 19th century.
