AIF celebrates global animation and will take place at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres in Hollywood. Last year the event presented new features from Asia, Europe, South America, and North America.
2021 winners included Flee, Belle and The Crossing. Programming also featured studio presentations highlighting the additional four 2021 best animated feature Oscar nominees besides Flee: eventual winner Encanto, as well as Luca, The Mitchells vs. The Machines, and Raya And The Last Dragon.
Earlier editions of the festival have showcased The Breadwinner, Mirai and I Lost My Body. AIM is produced by GKIDS in partnership with Annecy.
