The Festival adds four new Screening Events to its Official Selection.

Smurfs x SpongeBob x Turtles. A Paramount & Nickelodeon Animation presentation

Get ready for a colorful first look as Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon unveil their 2025 film slate. The panel features Smurfs, directed by Chris Miller, and The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants, helmed by Derek Drymon.

Plus, don’t miss two exciting new animated shorts SpongeBob: Order Up, directed by Sean Charmatz and TMNT: Chrome Alone 2 – Lost in New Jersey, directed by Kent Seki.

How to Train Your Dragon

As it does occasionally, the Festival would like to open its programme to techniques other than animation by presenting a sneak preview of this live-action adaptation of the famous three-time Oscar-nominated How to Train Your Dragon trilogy from DreamWorks Animation Studios. This new version is directed by the saga’s creator, Dean DeBlois!

Predator: Killer of Killers

An original action-adventure animation film, by Dan Trachtenberg and co-directed by Josh Wassung, set in the Predators universe, which will premiere on 6th June 2025, exclusively on Hulu.

High in the Clouds

First look

An enticing tale conceived by Paul McCartney and directed by celebrated filmmaker Toby Genkel.

Joined by Gaumont’s President of Global Animation & Family Terry Kalagian and illustrious Project Supervisor Christian De Vita, they present its journey from concept to screen.

The film has an all-star cast including musical legends Paul McCartney, Céline Dion, Lionel Richie and Ringo Starr. The presentation ends with a Q&A.
