Animation Production Days 2020 – Digital Edition

These are difficult times and we had to cancel Animation Production Days 2020, due to the Corona Pandemic, in its originally planned form. Since we unfortunately cannot change the situation, we have to change Animation Production Days this year: They will be held digitally.
As usual, there will be a catalogue with all selected projects and registered companies, but this time in digital form. We will also present all selected projects in daily posts on our Facebook page.
And – even more important – the heart of APD will also be preserved: Our One-on-One Meetings, but this time via video chat, integrated into an online meeting scheduler.
Of course, it won’t be quite the same, but we are convinced that especially in the current situation it is very important to stay in touch, to keep on working on projects and to forge new partnerships.
Before, we received 80 exciting project submissions for the Animation Production Days 2020 in various formats from which our jury has selected 50 extremely promising projects from 19 countries with a combined production value of around 170 million Euros for participation in APD.
