Animation Coming To Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Peacock, And More In June 2022

Netflix provides one of June’s highest-profile new animated productions in Hamish Steele’s Dead End: Paranormal Park. The show got a bit of unexpected attention earlier this month when it was name-dropped by a group of U.S.
Disney+ is prepping audiences for its upcoming feature Lightyear by releasing the documentary Beyond Infinity: Buzz and the Journey to Lightyear, which explores the evolution of the character from toy to Space Ranger. Featuring filmmakers, storytellers, artists and members of the Lightyear voice cast, the special recounts how Buzz’s original action-figure design was realized, and how that look was translated years later into a human hero.
Here’s a look at the streaming animation release calendar for the month of May:
Prime Video’s Fairfax is back for its second season and the streamer’s free counterpart Freevee (formerly IMDb TV) is dropping Season 4 of Corner Gas Animated. HBO Max sees the return of Birdgirl and Paramount+ will launch the made-for-streaming feature South Park: The Streaming Wars.
Some fan favorite series are back with new episodes this month, along with a couple exciting new titles and a Buzz Lightyear doc just in time for his solo feature debut.
