AFK Journey Prepares to Welcome a New Anime Crossover Event with Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End

 Frieren and Himmel will soon join Merlin on the adventure of a lifetime!

On March 28,Farlight Games dropped a teaser for the upcoming crossover event in AFK Journey, soon introducing Frieren and Himmel from the popular anime Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End into the realm of Esperia. The crossover event will kick off on May 1, 2026, offering brand new content, rewards, and exclusive cosmetics.

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End follows Frieren, an elven mage with a lifespan of over a thousand years, as she begins a new journey after her adventuring party defeats the Demon King. The series blends emotional storytelling, memorable dialogue, magical battles, and moments of gentle humor, earning widespread praise from fans around the world.

This exciting crossover marks the third major IP collaboration with the award-winning RPG, currently available to download for free on iOS, Android, and PC. The event brings the hit anime “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End” to the game for the first time ever with a fully in-universe storyline and quests.
