A Poster Reflecting the Festival’s Vibrancy and Passion!
The Festival is spreading its wings as it prepares for the upcoming edition, which will be held from Sunday 8th to Saturday 14th June: discover the poster designed by the talented artist and filmmaker Raman Djafari.

“The Annecy 2025 poster is colourful and full of movement to celebrate the return of the festivalgoers, like migratory birds, while also illustrating a genuine lovers’ dance with two giant birds making a sort of heart shape at the centre of the image. Hungary’s colours are standing proud for all to see as they are this year’s guest country.
The poster’s designer, Raman Djafari, is an Annecy regular; they are one of the best video clip artists around, and we are devoting a special session to this art. This is a vibrant poster full of passion, just like our Festival!”
Marcel Jean, Festival’s Artistic Director
“The Annecy Festival celebrates animation and its infinite potential. I wanted to create a poster that not only captures a vibrant event but also evokes a sense of magic and wonder. Drawing inspiration from the visual rhythm of traditional Hungarian folk art and Kalocsa embroidery, I created the design from their delicate floral motifs – often featuring tulips, roses and hearts. My linework style and composition are directly inspired by 18th century Japanese woodcuts.
I hope I have managed to capture the joy and spectacle that this festival represents for me and for innumerable animators across the world every year.”
