Viral words-to-life Puzzler Wordbound Confirms Steam Release

Prepare to become a powerful wordsmith! ICYMI, Canadian studio Kettle Games unveiled a brand-new gameplay teaser trailer for its language puzzler Wordbound during the Creature Feature & Friends 2026 Showcase, confirming plans for a PC release via Steam.

A mind-bending journey that tests your language skills, Wordbound imagines a world where everything is made of words. Pull apart objects, unscramble the magical letter tiles within, then remix them to spawn thousands of potential items. Restore objects within hand-made dioramas, find the hidden Sparks across these levels, and creatively shape the world by composing your own scenes.

Footage of the mixed reality version of the game went viral last summer, garnering over 10M views across social media, showcasing unique gameplay in which 3D objects are stretched to form words composed of letter tiles, and words are squished to form 3D objects.
