ENEMY INCOMING! BASE-BUILDER TOWER DEFENSE TITLE ‘BLOCK FORTRESS 2’ ANNOUNCED FOR STEAM

Indie developer Foursaken Media loads their artillery for their latest Steam launch.

Releigh, NC, December 5th, 2024 | With over 50 million downloads across multiple platforms, indie developer Foursaken Media is announcing its newest PC title Block Fortress 2, coming soon to Steam.

Build Your Base

Following the success of titles such as Noblemen: 1896, War Tortoise, and the original Block Fortress, Foursaken Media brings a new sandbox base-builder to Steam. Block Fortress 2 is a unique mix of block-building, tower defense, and FPS/TPS gameplay. Build an impenetrable fortress to protect against incoming forces, then use all your resources to defend your base! Structure your forces using dozens of different block types; Powerful turrets, shield generators, land mines, teleporters, zip lines, and more are at your disposal to create towering fortresses or sprawling castles. Several game modes–including sandbox, missions, and survival–cater to novice builders and expert strategists alike.

Defend Your Fortress

Once your fortress is ready, it’s time to defend. Block Fortress 2 runs as a First or Third-person shooter, allowing for flexibility on the battlefield. Equip your character with different weapons for ranged attacks and on-field combat. Rocket launchers, mini-guns, plasma rifles, jet packs, and more are on hand to defend your stronghold. Specialized soldiers are also deployed to boost damage and cover more territory. Change from builder to commander to fighter, and fend off the relentless enemies of the Blockverse across 10 different planet biomes, each with their own unique hazards.

Share Your Creations

Build an impregnable fortress to defend, a giant city to explore, an epic quest to complete, or whatever you can imagine using an extensive sandbox mode and mission builder. Build your idea, add enemies, set up the rules, and choose the goals. Then, share your creations and download others for endless replayability!
