These Belgian Games Are Going to Gamescom 2024 – Hands-on Demo Inside!
Last year, Flanders Game Hub announced the launch of their inaugural incubator tracks (SPARK & IGNITE), helping Flemish studios who need it most with their coaching and expertise. An international jury of experts including Rami Ismail, Jason Della Rocca, Nika Nour and many more decided on which studios could best use their help and now some of them are coming to Gamescom 2024 and bringing games for you to check!

Streep
What: Streep is a fun experimental game where you are a pen in a paper world. Every line you draw changes the present and the future. What would you do with so much power?

As a Pen, with the ability to cross out, encircle, and erase, you are given the power to restore balance, but also to destroy! Embark on a journey through time. From the creation of the paper world to its development through various periods and find out what kind of god you want to be.

The developers of Streep are still very much experimenting with how they want to evolve their game. The sky is the limit, or rather the piece of paper they are drawing lines on. Have a talk with them while you play their vertical slice and see which possibilities lie ahead!
Does it Stack?
What: Does It Stack? lets players create ridiculous towers in VR by stacking an assortment of items atop one another.
Why should you care? Can you build a tower of toy cars with a bicycle on top? Can you balance a fish on a bowling ball? Maybe this is the rare occasion where you should put the fork in the toaster? But watch out! If two objects of the same color touch each other, they go BOOM! Be careful, or you might get a heart-a-stack!
Developer: Cybernetic Walrus
Release Date: FALL 2024 (VR platforms)
Want to see if you have what it takes to stack objects as high as possible in VR? It’s easy to grasp, but hard to master. But you can be the judge of your own skills as you play the game at their booth and chat with the devs. Book a slot here:

Developer: Eye Blink Twice
Release Date: To Be Announced (PC only, for now)
Time To Wake Up won’t have a booth or playable demo at Gamescom, as they are focusing on finding a publisher deal. But you CAN wishlist the game on Steam or keep an eye on their socials!
