SCS 2025 Grand Finals Conclude Successfully! Players M’ and XiaoHai Crowned Champions of The King of Fighters XV and Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves
From October 17 to 19, 2025, the SCS 2025 Grand Finals, hosted by SNK Corporation, were successfully held at Beijing’s Shougang Park. After intense competition, player SANWA|M’ successfully defended his title as the The King of Fighters XV champion, while Falcons|XiaoHai claimed the annual championship title for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. Additionally, players DRG|XingChen, Falcons|mok, and mi2ha4 secured direct qualification spots for SWC 2025.

Champions Crowned in Two Major Titles, SWC Roster Unveiled
In the The King of Fighters XV single-elimination BO7 championship match held on the 19th, the SCS 2024 champion SANWA|M’ faced off fiercely against the formidable Korean contender CR|Madkof. Ultimately, M’ defeated his opponent with a 4-2 score, achieving back-to-back SCS championships in The King of Fighters XV and taking home the symbolic champion trophy along with the 120,000 CNY prize. CR|Madkof and DRG|XingChen were awarded the runner-up and third place titles, respectively.
In the subsequent Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves double-elimination BO7 championship match, winners bracket player Falcons|XiaoHai once again clashed with losers bracket player WBG|PoongKo. The match began with XiaoHai securing two consecutive wins thanks to stellar performances with his character, Futaba Mei. PoongKo, under pressure, managed to stage a comeback from 0-2 to 3-2, bringing the match to a thrilling climax. In the end, XiaoHai seized the crucial opportunity in the final round, winning the match 4-3 and claiming the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves annual championship along with the 300,000 CNY prize. WBG|PoongKo and Falcons|ET were named the runner-up and third place winners for this title, respectively.
Based on the final results, the SCS 2025 direct qualification spots for SWC 2025 (SNK World Championship 2025) were awarded to DRG|XingChen from The King of Fighters XV, and Falcons|mok and mi2ha4 from Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. They will join other players, including Falcons|XiaoHai, Falcons|ET, CR|Madkof, SANWA|M’, AG|yunwu, REJECT|Score, Falcons|xyzzy, REJECT|Laggia, and WBG|PoongKo, to compete in the SWC 2025 Global Finals, scheduled for October 31 to November 2 in Atlanta, USA. A grand send-off ceremony was held onsite for the participating players.
The 20 players in this year’s Grand Finals all emerged through multiple rounds of rigorous online qualifiers and offline regional events, standing out among top fighting game talents from China, Japan, South Korea, and other countries and regions. Throughout the event, they delivered numerous high-level, intensely competitive, and highly entertaining matches for a global audience.
