Pirata & Capitano Heads to CCTV

The animated series Pirata & Capitano is set to air in China on CCTV.
Co-produced by France Télévisions and Italy’s Rai, the 52×11-minute series will make its China premiere on August 13. The CGI series follows Pirata as she travels the Great Sea at the helm of her ship, the Pink Skull, with her loyal crew in search of adventure. Her best friend, Capitano, flies a red seaplane and joins them on their nautical explorations.
Millimages has licensed the show around the world, with a broadcast roster that includes the U.K., Italy, France, Spain, Brazil, the U.S., Poland, South Korea, Russia, Turkey and elsewhere. A second season is already in production and slated for delivery in Q1 2020.
