Need for Speed 2019 Reveal Scheduled for Tomorrow, Countdown Live

Need for Speed is one of the most loved racing franchise and we are about to see the latest one tomorrow. EA and Ghost Games have confirmed that the official reveal for Need for Speed 2019 is tomorrow and a livestream countdown has already begun. Unlike the next Plants Vs. Zombies game, EA has managed to keep EA under curtains and so far we have not even seen a single leak of the franchise.
The official website for Need for Speed has turned into a countdown. The countdown timer is indeed for the reveal of Need for Speed and not just a website update because we know that Andrew Wilson, CEO EA, has plans of hosting a pre-Gamescom show during which both Need for Speed and Plants Vs. Zombies game will be revealed.
We have a lot of hopes for this year’s NFS game because the franchise has been going down the drain for a long time. I think it is about time that EA starts taking its fan’s request seriously and stop stuffing their own ideas on the fans. NFS has tried to replicate different movies in the past games and it tried to bring back some old franchises such as Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted however none have been up to the mark.
2017’s Need for Speed Payback was yet another mediocre title littered with microtransactions and a typical action movie plot. Fans have been asking EA to finally release the next title in the Underground series and I think it is about time that EA starts delivering instead of just experimenting with the franchise.
This next Need for Speed title will be a vital title in the franchise because it will allow EA to see whether NFS is a franchise worth taking to the next generation or not. The gap is hardly a year since Need for Speed 2019 will be released in Fall 2019 most probably. If EA wants to ensure that fans stick around for another Need for Speed game, they must make sure that they start delivering instead of just promising.
