Locksmith Animation and 20th Century Studios premiered Ron’s Gone Wrong at the London Film Festival on Oct 9. A story about friendship set against the backdrop of the social media age,it is about a socially awkward middle-schooler and Ron, his new walking, talking, digitally connected device: his “Best Friend out of the Box”. The brilliant cast includes Jack Dylan Grazer as Barney, Zach Galifianakis as the voice of Ron, Ed Helms, and Justice Smith.

Locksmith Animation, one of the founding companies of Animation UK is a dedicated high-end CG feature animation studio making films for a global family audience. Founded in 2014 by Sarah Smith and Julie Lockhart, in partnership with Elisabeth Murdoch, Locksmith is a creative-led studio driven by a passion for original stories that combine comedy, heart and big ideas in proper movies for smart families.
Much of the production of this feature was carried out during Lockdown by a team of over 200.. One of the few features made during this time, emphasizing UK sector’s resilience, creative excellence, skills base, and strength.
