Kidscreen announces shortlist for 2025 Kidscreen Awards

The winners will be announced live at an evening awards ceremony taking place during Kidscreen Summit 2025.

Kidscreen has announced the shortlisted entries that are moving on to a final round of judging in this year’s industry-leading global awards programme celebrating excellence in children’s entertainment. All winners will be announced and celebrated live at a special awards ceremony taking place on Tuesday, 11 February during Kidscreen Summit 2025 in San Diego.

The 2025 Kidscreen Awards shortlist is out!

Shortlisted entries in the programming categories will be reviewed and assessed by a final panel of judges: Mary-Ellen Mullane (ABC Australia), Claire Heinrich (France Télévisions), Marie McCann (CBC Kids), Matthew Berkowitz (Netflix), Rick Clodfelter (Disney Branded Television), Kerstin Viehbach (Super RTL), Pablo Zuccarino (Warner Bros. Discovery), Lucy Murphy (Sky), Jenna Boyd (Disney Branded Television), Sarah Muller (BBC Children’s), Adina Pitt (independent) and Nina Hahn (Luna Bean Partners).

Best Inclusivity entries were reviewed and assessed by a jury comprised of Koyalee Chanda (Lion Forge Entertainment), Julian Bashford (Visionality Media), Camille Eden (independent), Rennata Lopez (Lopii Productions), Bob Higgins (Trustbridge Entertainment), Sara DeWitt (PBS KIDS), Keith Dawkins (Harlem Globetrotters), Chris Rose (independent) and Tom McGillis (Fresh TV).

Shortlisted entries in the digital categories will be judged in a final round by Colleen Russo Johnson (Nickelodeon), Marina Mello (BBC Studios), Steve Couture (Epic Storyworlds), Marc De Vellis (Spin Master), David Kleeman (Dubit), Carla Englebrecht (Betweened), Ricardo Briceno (Gamefam), Alexandria Kuo (Roblox) and Paul Pattison (Relish).
