CityU SCOPE and Krystal Institute launch foundational ERB “Certificate in Creative Digital Media Design & Production Assistant Training”
June 8, 2021, Hong Kong S.A.R–Krystal Institute Limited (“Krystal Institute”) starts their collaboration with CityU SCOPE to provide the “Certificate in Creative Digital Media Design and Production Assistant Training” course for the Employees Retraining Board (ERB). The certificate course is currently under the “Love Upgrading Special Scheme” launched by the ERB to support the unemployed or underemployed to upgrade their skills for employment and self-enhancement. The collaboration will see Krystal Institute provide expertise in curriculum design and instruction, as well as support towards employment upon graduation, under the Digital Economy Core Technology (DECT) Career Program of the DECT Global Series.
About the “Certificate in Creative Digital Media Design and Production Assistant Training”
The “Certificate in Creative Digital Media Production and Design Assistant Training” is designed for those who are seeking professions in the digital media space. Students will receive broad-based training in creating multimedia products, beginning with basic sketches and web page designs to more complex pplications, such as 2D and 3D animation and video games. The course trains students to be adept in creative Design Thinking and enhances students’ conceptual knowledge in digital media. Moreover, the course instils relevant skills in operating open-source software, readying them for entry-level positions with Krystal Institute’s industry partners and further study.
