GodotHub Festival 2026 Officially Launched: Theme “Delay” Opens Submission for All Godot Developers

1. Event Overview
GodotHub Festival is an annual national game creation competition hosted by GodotHub community, first held in 2023. This marks the 4th edition of the event, jointly supported by OpenKylin, CSDN, GitCode, Tripo AI, GamePix and multiple open-source communities. The competition aims to stimulate domestic independent game creation, popularize the open-source Godot engine, and build an exchange platform for Godot creators across the country. Over 300 developers have joined previous sessions, creating a vibrant domestic Godot developer ecosystem.
Core Theme: Delay
Creative reference: Some echoes arrive late; answers always come after missed chances. Participants may interpret “delay” via delayed emotions, memories, timelines or unique game mechanics. All entries must attach written explanations about how the game fits the theme upon submission, and theme matching will directly affect final scores.
