GDC Booking Invites for Versus Evil

With GDC 2023 quickly approaching, Plan of Attack is excited to start taking bookings for Versus Evil’s catalogue of upcoming releases. GDC will be the perfect opportunity for press to get their hands on these new and freshly updated titles and talk about what they have in store for this blockbuster year. Attending GDC will be Steve Escalante, Versus Evil General Manager and Founder, Lance James, Head of Production, and Jericho Leon Guerrero, Senior Producer, who will be on hand to answer any questions related to Versus Evil and their 2023 lineup.

For all titles listed, 30 minute or 1 hour appointment slots are available

at the W Hotel at the following times:

Broken Roads

Broken Roads is the upcoming debut title from Australian indie studio Drop Bear Bytes. Born of a love for traditional computer role-playing games, Broken Roads provides a rich, engaging narrative in which players make their way across a desolated Australia.

Blending together traditional and all-new role-playing elements on top of a classless system offering unlimited character development options, Broken Roads presents players with an original morality system: the Moral Compass. This novel design sees dialogue options and questing decisions influence, and be influenced by, a character’s philosophical leaning.

Take on some moral challenges as you play a hands-on demo of the game, visit some new never-before-seen areas, check out the updated visuals and look over the newly improved UI. Duration: ~15mins

Tamarak Trail

Tamarak Trail is a one-of-a-kind take on turn-based deck-building roguelikes. Instead of cards, players rely on customizable dice as they navigate randomly-generated trails full of loot, mystery, danger and boss fights. As a member of a secret society named the Sturgeon Lodge, it’s up to you to piece together the mystery of a decaying earth, hunt down the source of this corruption, and put a stop to it at all costs!

Roll the dice and tackle the evil lurking on the Tamarak Trail as you play a hands-on demo of the game. Duration: ~10/15mins

First look at GDC, IP Announcement on March 29th

An exciting new title in the Versus Evil catalogue is slated to be revealed for the first time at GDC! This narrative-driven deduction adventure game brings a new whimsical, rich environment, with over 100 unique characters and more to the genre. It will be announced on March 29th, but there will be an exclusive first look at the game, with the devs on hand for interviews, at GDC.
