FIRST SEASON OF BACKDOOR COMING TO AMAZON PRIME VIDEO

The Sketch Comedy Series Can Be Seen On Comedy Central And Will Stream On Amazon Prime Video

Cannes, France, October 15, 2019 – Viacom International Studios (VIS) announced that Amazon Prime Video has acquired the first season of hit comedy content creators Backdoor – Humor por donde no lo esperas (20 eps. x 30 seconds).  The series will feature brand new comedy sketches by Backdoor and premiered on Comedy Central Latin America on September 9, with the full series coming to Prime Video in Latin America later this year.

Backdoor is one of Mexico’s most shared and viral YouTube comedy channel of the year. The series is the Spanish-language version of Porta dos Fundos, a leading multiplatform comedy powerhouse from Brazil with 16 Million subscribers and +5.1 Billion video views on YouTube alone. Backdoor (Mexico) debuted on YouTube in April and rapidly became a viral sensation with hits such as “Pene bueno” and “Harina”. Backdoor’s YouTube channel has now more than 2Million subscribers and +35 Million video views, premiering two new videos every week.
