Finals of the 2nd NVIDIA DGX Spark Hackathon to Be Held in Shanghai, Exploring New Frontiers of Intelligent Creation with Multimodal AI Agents

The final roadshow of the 2nd NVIDIA DGX Spark Hackathon is set to kick off! Taking place from 13:30 to 17:30 on August 2, 2026, at the Hall of AI Creation & Ecosystem Center, Songjiang Film & TV Sci-Tech City in Shanghai, top shortlisted teams from across the country will compete on stage to unlock the creative potential of AI agents.

Co-hosted by NVIDIA Developer Community, StepFun and Zanqi Technology, the hackathon adopts “Let Agents Create Everything” as its core theme and targets cutting-edge research on multimodal AI Agents. Powered by the high-performance computing platform NVIDIA DGX Spark, participants are encouraged to build AI agents capable of perception, comprehension, autonomous creation and iterative optimization, and explore innovative implementation approaches of AI Agents in content production, intelligent workflows and multimodal creation scenarios.

After rigorous screening, 10 elite teams have advanced to the finals. On the event day, each team will deliver project presentations one after another, with authoritative industry experts conducting on-site evaluation and scoring. Rankings will be announced live to determine the champion, first runner-up and second runner-up, followed by an awards ceremony, showcasing a top-tier technological competition centering on multimodal Agents.

The hackathon welcomes AI developers, tech enthusiasts, multimedia creators, university faculty and students, as well as corporate technical teams. There are no restrictions on industry background or professional experience. Each team consists of 2 to 5 members; cross-institutional and interdisciplinary team formation is supported. Every team shall appoint one team leader to coordinate communication and project submission. Each participant may only join one team and multiple registrations are prohibited.

Winning teams will compete for exclusive DGX Spark awards, industry exposure opportunities and official certifications. The organizers invite innovators from all sectors to follow the finals, discuss technological trends of multimodal agents, and jointly pioneer new paradigms for AI content creation.
