Publisher Gamigo and developer Tableflip have announced FATE: Reawakened, a remastered collection of four classic dungeon crawler action RPGs set to release for PC (Steam, Epic). A release date was not announced.

A beloved old-school adventure begins anew as MMORPG publisher gamigo and developer Tableflip announce FATE: Reawakened, a full remaster of the original FATE series, originally developed and published by WildTangent! Breathing new life into a classic, FATE: Reawakened updates the iconic dungeon crawler quadrilogy with remastered audio tracks, complete graphical overhauls, and additional language support.

FATE: Reawakened comprises all four original games, including the sequels Undiscovered Realms, The Traitor Soul, and The Cursed King.

FATE is celebrated and recognized as one of the early pioneers of the action RPG genre and a notable precursor to games like Torchlight. In it, players set out on an epic quest, battling vicious monsters, collecting unique weapons, and learning magical spells in their quest for glory and fame. Cited as many players’ first dungeon crawler, FATE’s legacy is preserved and enhanced in its upcoming Reawakened remaster, conserving all the beloved characteristics of the original while giving the series a good polish.

About the FATE Series

During the golden era of action RPGs, FATE stood out as a powerhouse, earning the runner-up spot for PC Magazine’s Role-Playing Game of the Year award. Its popularity led to the creation of three sequels, making it one of the premier dungeon crawlers of its time. Now, a new generation of players can enter the legendary town of Grove and experience the original games like never before!
