1. Grand Epic Lore: A Continental Conflict Spanning 200 Years
Two centuries ago, the great mage Lunatia forged enchanted Holy Armor to crush the brutal Abissloa Empire and save humanity. Peace endured for two hundred years, yet the tide of war rises once again. The Solshinat Kingdom, the most dominant force on the continent, reveals its invasive agenda, while remnants of the old Abissloa rise to form a new imperial regime bent on global domination.
Queen Mistiein, heir to Lunatia’s legacy, summons leaders from all 25 divided nations to unite against the looming threat. Set in a vast world where humans and monsters coexist, Brigandine: Abyss features intricate political schemes, large-scale warfare, and heartfelt bonds, with fully realized backstories for every faction.
2. Core Gameplay & Signature Features
Iconic Hex-Based Turn-Based Tactical Combat
The game retains the franchise’s signature hexagonal grid battlefield system. Elevation differences, unit counters, and unique monster abilities create deep tactical depth, with over 100 recruitable knights and monster units to collect and cultivate. Fully 3D battlefields bring massive campaigns to life with vivid fire, magic and dragon breath visual effects, requiring both grand strategic planning and sharp on-field decision-making.
Dual Game Modes – Over 200 Hours of Total Playtime
- Story Mode: Six playable kingdoms each feature exclusive, distinct main storylines revolving around the rise of the New Abissloa Empire. Intertwined character fates and branching narratives offer high replay value for multiple playthroughs.
- Quest Mode: Unlock all 24 playable nations across the continent, each with unique objectives and side quests. Forge your own path of conquest without a fixed central storyline, for pure sandbox strategic simulation fun.
Two-Phase Nation Management & Conquest Loop
Gameplay cycles between two core phases to balance domestic development and military expansion:
- Organization Phase: Within limited turns, develop your territory, explore uncharted lands, form pacts with mythical beasts, recruit and train knights, and upgrade strongholds to bolster your army’s strength.
- Invasion Phase: Choose freely whether to march on neighboring realms, seize vital resources, recruit elite units, and expand your borders — every expansion choice rests in your hands.
