DaVinci International Film Festival Inks Deal With Rockefellas Studios

DaVinci International Film Festival has entered an agreement with Rockefellas Studios, in where submissions* from the upcoming edition of the festival will have the opportunity to air on Rockefellas TV, the new entertainment channel that recently launched on ROKU.

The sixth edition of DIFF will now take place from February 23-25th, 2024.

Films submitted to DIFF will have the option to air on the Rockefellas TV beginning next year, available to ROKU viewers in North America and United Kingdom.

“This unique partnership with Rockefellas Studios will take DIFF to new heights, securing our place as one of the top new festivals on the global stage,” comments DIFF founder Chadwick Pelletier. “We’re excited to offer our talented filmmakers unprecedented exposure for their work on Rockefellas TV’s ROKU channel.”

DIFF will benefit from Rockefella’s cutting-edge advertising capabilities, which provide content creators a unique platform designed to reach their target audience effectively. The channel’s advertising solutions will harness the power of Roku’s extensive reach, allowing advertisers to engage with viewers through targeted campaigns. The unique partnership also includes revenue sharing, valuable analytics and billboard advertising.

DIFF ’24 will showcase more than 100 creative projects, including 24 in-competition feature and short narrative, documentary and animation films, screenwriting finalists, and up to 80 ultra-shorts, which will compete for the festival’s Audience Award. Leo Award categories include feature and short narrative, documentary (DIFFdocs), animation, screenwriting (Storyline), and the Junior Leo Award for student filmmakers. Additional panel programs will include Digital Hollywood, Film BC, In Sync with Hollywood, in addition to the Writers’ Corner Program and DaVinci Labs / Arts & Sciences Program, to anchor the slate.

For its second installment at AMC Theatres at The Grove, DIFF will feature an opening night VIP reception, live and in-person screenings, a closing night Leo Award celebration, panel programs, and exclusive festival events, such as DaVinci Labs exhibition, honoring multidisciplinary creatives with its inaugural showcase in architecture in collaboration with ad-c.org.
