David Kessler has Died
David Kessler, Orange Content Director and previous high-ranking official occupying the post of cultural and communications advisor at the Élysée, died on Monday 3rd February.
David Kessler, Orange Content Director, died on Monday 3rd February at the age of 60. His professional career regularly gave him the opportunity to attend the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
Cultural and communications advisor to Lionel Jospin (1997-2001), and more recently media and cultural advisor to François Hollande (2012-2014), David Kessler was also Director of the Conseil Supérieur de l’Audiovisuel (1996-1997), the CNC (2001-2004) (National Centre for Cinema), France Culture (2005-2008), and Chairman of the Forum des images.
In 2014, he joined the private sector by taking over the management of Orange Content. He was in charge of the operator’s content sector, which brings together the production subsidiary “Orange Studio” and OCS (TV channel).
As Director of the CNC or Orange Content (Orange being a Festival partner), he attended several editions of the Annecy Festival.
All of the Annecy Festival team’s thoughts go to his family, collaborators and loved ones.
