CGGE Global and Shenzhen Polytechnic University join hands to create a new future and drive a new chapter in digital media education.
From March 22nd to 23rd, 2025, in order to promote the international cutting-edge new technologies in digital creative technology and exchange innovative models in digital media discipline education, CGGE (China Global Graphics Education) held a two-day “Blender + AI Creative Training: Teaching Application and Case Practice” course at Shenzhen Polytechnic. Teachers and some students from the Digital Media College of Shenzhen Polytechnic, majoring in digital animation, animation design, and digital media art, participated in the training and exchange activities, gaining a deep understanding of Blender’s functions and practical applications, as well as the operation of plugins and AI creation tools and formulating new teaching strategies.
This training course invited Gaku Tada, the developer of the Deep Paint plugin, to share his industry experience in major special effects companies such as Industrial Light & Magic and Weta FX, and personally explain the application of technologies such as converting 2D brushes to 3D models, stylized brushes, and 3D space painting. Additionally, Stanley Yuen, a senior mentor and experienced film production director at CGGE, shared his insights on the integration and operation of Blender and AI tools, as well as practical demonstration courses.
This training and exchange course, based on the cutting-edge vision and innovative models of Shenzhen Polytechnic’s teachers and students in the industry, further promotes in-depth cooperation between enterprises and universities in terms of production, research, and education.
