BOMBANANA! Set to Launch on 2 September 2026 on PC via Steam!

Indie team, Lefto Studio are excited to announce the release of its viral bomb defusal co-op game, BOMBANANA! set to launch on 2 September 2026 on PC via Steam! The most played demo during the Steam Next Fest June 2026, and with more than 6 millions unique players, the anticipated title unveiled its release date along with some screenshots of the new art direction.

This news comes just two weeks after independent Turkish development team Lefto, rides the high of hitting 1 Million Wishlists and are still the second most played demo on Steam currently.

About the game:

Bombanana is a chaotic bomb defusal game for 3 players where each of them only has part of the information – mute monkey, blind monkey and deaf monkey need to work together, or everyone goes BOOM!

Building a communication method is key, and there’s no right way to do it. Players can and should expect high amounts of misunderstanding, unjust accusations, and desperate body language, with friendships not guaranteed.

Throwing a fresh spin (and a banana or two) to the defusal party games such as Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, Bombanana makes each run a frantic and joyful race against the clock!

About the Team:

Bombana is Lefto Studio’s first commercial game’s release, but this is certainly not the developers’ first rodeo. Headed by Ufuk Girit, the Lefto team members have worked on similar titles such as Liars Bar and We Are So Cooked. Bombanana’s viral success won the heart of many players, and reassured the team that there’s still a desire for more fun and chaotic co-op games. “I was confident the game would succeed in being fun, but winning first place at Next Fest was a huge surprise for me.”, said Ufuk after seeing the game rank to top-played demo during the Steam Next Fest.

About the Publisher:

To make the most of their success, Lefto have teamed up with local Turkish independent publisher, TARK, an independent PC and console investor/publisher and whose philosophy is founded in hands-on launch support while protecting developers’ creative freedom. TARK are also backing anticipated indie gems, Terrible Life Expectancy and KORRIDOR.

They have also teamed up with publishing veterans Claire Barilla and Steve Stopps, (responsible for titles like Ranch Sim and Still Wakes The Deep) to bring the game to market.
