ANONYMOUS KILLERS, A CAN’T MISS FILM AT AFM

Film to be screened at Laemmle Monica Film Center Screen 2 ON 11/9 at 3:00pm

Los Angeles, CA – November 9TH, 2019 – Proclaimed film maker A.R. Hilton will debut his first feature film at American Film Market on November 9TH, 2019. Anonymous Killers is an ode to the U.S. Justice system from the eyes of a previously incarcerated man who spent the majority of his adult life behind bars in one of New York’s most notorious prisons. This is Hilton’s, (the writer and director of the film) first feature length movie, succeeding a short film and published work about the struggles of young black males and the choices formed in an urban environment of drugs, violence and poverty in the 80’s.

Anonymous Killers will debut at American Film Market on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 3:00pm at Laemmle Monica Film Center, Screen 2. The film’s team including A.R. Hilton, and the film’s two producers, Vincent van Hinte and Timothy Gagliardo will also be exhibiting at AFM between November 6-12 and will be taking meetings with interested parties.

Anonymous Killers depicts one of the most defining moments in Hilton’s life; the culmination of two trials that would change the course of his future. The controversial process of a trial by a jury of ones’ peers is the root of this thought provoking, witty narrative which touches on a variety of social injustices and allows the audience to decide, who is the true Anonymous Killer?

2019, the year that the film was finally completed also marks Hilton’s 12-year anniversary of being released from prison.  The final product from the 4-year production not only represents a life changed for the better, but also illuminates an example for those still in confinement, that the creation and emergence of a new life can begin long before their sentence ends.
