The American Film Market (AFM) will make its return to Santa Monica live for its 43rd edition, November 1-6, 2022. Press Registration is NOW OPEN and the deadline is Friday, September 23.
AFM is where the business of film comes to life every November in the world’s filmmaking capital. A leading international market for the film industry, more than US$1 billion in production and distribution deals will be done at AFM on both completed films and those in every stage of development and production. Many projects and films that get their start here will go on to become award contenders and box office hits.
The Santa Monica beachfront campus will serve as the backdrop for every segment of the global film industry to come together to collaborate, share knowledge, conduct business, attend screenings and panels, and network.
The AFM Sessions
The AFM also gives you the benefit of insider conversations about where the marketplace is headed with topics covering every aspect of filmmaking. New for 2022, The AFM Sessions have moved from the Fairmont to inside the Loews Hotel making it easy for you to sit in on panels. We have put together a strong lineup of timely topics and discussions, including:
