Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific season 2 delayed
Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific season 2 delayed so Activision can fix more bugs

Season 2 of Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific has been delayed.
Activision is delaying Call of Duty: Warzone’s next season by a few weeks to focus on fixing bugs. The publisher announced Season 2 will now begin two weeks later on February 14—a lovely day for a Warzone update. As for why, it’s to allow Sledgehammer Games and the other teams behind Call of Duty:
“We feel your frustrations and hear you loud and clear. To date, we’ve deployed a number of updates, but more needs to be done,” the post reads. Warzone has been in a rough spot since the launch of its new Caldera map and addition of Vanguard guns in December. Especially on consoles, the game has suffered performance issues that weren’t present on the old map.
Upcoming updates will feature quality-of-life improvements and adjustments to the core gameplay loop, mechanics, and balance as well.
“Going forward, you can expect to hear from us more often regarding Call of Duty’s state of play,” the blog reads. “Studios remain focused on continuously improving your game experience, and we greatly value our community feedback. More frequent and detailed communication updates will be posted here and across Call of Duty social channels.”
Warzone’s official Trello page is tracking some of the weirdest issues popping up, including a crash that can occur on Xbox if you press the home button too much and certain operator skins that turn players invisible at long distances.
