Audiokinetic Appoints Executive Arnaud Saint-Martin to lead Business Development in Asia
Montréal, Canada and Tokyo, Japan – February 18th, 2020 – Audiokinetic Inc., the leading global provider of cross-platform audio solutions for the interactive media and gaming industries announced today that it has appointed technology executive Arnaud Saint-Martin as Head of Business Development for the Asia market.
Saint-Martin, who is based in Tokyo, Japan, will be leading the company’s sales team and growth strategy in Asia, and will be responsible for driving partnerships and developing the company’s new business segments, while managing a large and diverse portfolio of developers. The company founded its first Asia subsidiary Audiokinetic K.K. in Japan in 2013. Last year, it launched another subsidiary to serve its Asia market, Audiokinetic Shanghai Technology Co, Ltd, in China. Saint-Martin will help drive the organization through next steps as Audiokinetic continues its expansion in the region. Leading tailored efforts towards growing and empowering interactive audio communities in Asia, Saint-Martin will be spearheading business opportunities in alignment with the company’s global vision and long-term objectives.
Following its acquisition by Sony Interactive Entertainment in January of 2019, Audiokinetic announced that it will maintain its commitment in delivering innovative multi-platform audio solutions with even greater resources. A specialist of business in Asia, with a strong focus on Japan, Korea and China, Saint-Martin is fluent in Japanese, English and French, and has chosen Tokyo as his hometown 24 years ago. Previously, Saint-Martin was the Global Director of Developer Account Management for Microsoft, leading the worldwide commercial team of Havok. Prior to that, he served as Asia Region Director for Havok, and was also involved in business development and production for key projects published by iconic brands such as Famitsu and Atari.
