The 4th International Exchange on Media Fusion Practice Teaching Innovation

The 4th International Exchange Conference on Media Fusion Practice Teaching Innovation was opened in Kunming. The objective of this conference is to fully learn from the advanced experience of foreign counterparts, guide colleges and universities to build a hybrid “golden lesson” based on virtual simulation experimental teaching projects, and continuously improve the development capacity of media experimental teaching projects.

Directors of experimental teaching committee of Chinese universities, member of the media discipline group of the association of national experimental teaching demonstration centers of institutions of higher learning, and more than 200 teachers and related personnel from more than 100 media-related universities, experimental teaching centers, virtual simulation experimental teaching centers and related secondary colleges attended the meeting. In addition, related professional leaders from France, Malaysia, Nepal and other countries college media participated in the event.

At the opening ceremony, Hu Zhi Feng, President of the Chinese Academy of Film and Television and President of The School of Art and Media at Beijing normal university, Zhu Hong, member of the standing committee of the party committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Yunnan University; Shan Xiao Hong, Deputy Dean of the School of Journalism of Yunnan University; all spoke in the opening ceremony.  It was hoped that through convening the conference, we can thoroughly implement the first-class course “Shuang Wan Plan” and fully learn from the advanced experience of our foreign counterparts to guide colleges and universities to create hybrid “golden courses” based on virtual simulation experimental teaching projects and continuously improve the development ability of media experimental teaching projects.

It is understood that the meeting will focus on the media integration of the new situation of the transformation and innovation of media higher education exchange and discussion, explore the experimental teaching ecosystem of the construction of ideas and models. The organizer has arranged a thematic forum, five Chinese sub-forums and an international forum. During the conference, nearly 40 experts and scholars will speak on the themes of all-media talent training, “golden class” construction, media education reform, international news education in the all-media era, VR/AR technology and virtual simulation teaching, and strive to promote the transformation and development of media higher education through the sharing of school-running and teaching experiences in various institutions. To train the whole media era of news talent to provide experience and guidance.

The conference was conducted by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Television, the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Colleges and Universities, hosted by Zhejiang Media College, China Media University and Yunnan University, Yunnan University School of Journalism and South Asia International Communication College of South Asia, Yunnan University National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Journalism and Communication, China Media University Laboratory and Equipment Management Office and Zhejiang Media College TV editors and pilot national experimental teaching demonstration center co-sponsored.
