The Paris Opera

With Maya and her best friend Bilal, we enter the Paris Opera Ballet School and share the daily life ofLouise, Constance, Lucas, Hugo, Zoe, Franz and Dorothy, children like any others (or almost!) gathered around the same passion: dance. And the same dream: becoming principal dancers! These kids are the famous “petits rats”of the Opéra.

In this exceptional setting, students have academic classes in the morning, and all the rest revolves around dance. Over and above the learning that punctuates their daily lives, the school year is marked by a number of highlights: the Parade on the Opéra Garnier stage in September and the Christmas Demonstrations in front of over2,000 spectators, the choice of their tutor or the end-of-year Gala and the final exam in June, which validates passage to the next division. Not forgetting the end-of-term assessments!
