Deceit 2 Gameplay Revealed at Future Games Show, Open Beta Soon
The ritual of Deceit begins anew! During the Future Games Show, World Makers released a brand-new trailer for Deceit 2, the asymmetric horror whodunnit built in Unreal Engine 5.
The new trailer marks the first extended look at Deceit 2 gameplay featuring nine-player social strategic interplay, brand new items like the clipboard and mask, the new Healer role, and the terrifying new Terror design.

For those who want to try Deceit 2 right now, World Makers is conducting an Open Beta for PC users to allow them to jump right in ahead of the game’s launch later this summer on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One and PC.
This beta period for the game will run until Monday, June 12. To access the Open Beta, players can sign up through the page on Deceit.gg and request access through the game’s Steam store page. Players can also wishlist Deceit 2 now on Steam.
Featuring gameplay mechanics crafted to create a terrifyingly tense and suspicious atmosphere, Deceit 2 will be a rich social deception sandbox that will connect Players on PC and Console via crossplay.
Innocent players will need to use their wits and various tools from the merchant and Asylum environment to suss out who in their party is Infected, but Infected players will have a number of strategic options to obstruct investigation as well.
