美国国家电视艺术与科学学院(National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences)上周五在帕萨迪纳市政礼堂(Pasadena Civic Auditorium)举行了颁奖典礼，宣布了第46届年度日间艾美奖(Emmy Awards)的获奖名单。《乌鸦:传奇》，Baobab工作室的cg动画短片和VR体验，以四项动画类奖项领跑:日间节目优秀互动媒体;Kal Athannassov的角色设计和Cody Gramstad的制作设计获得动画奖的杰出个人成就;埃里克·达内尔获得最佳动画导演奖。此外，尼克国际儿童频道(Nickelodeon)的《喧哗之家》(The Loud House)、Netflix的《问故事机器人》(Ask The Storybots)、亚马逊(Amazon)的《翻滚的叶子》(翻滚的叶子)和迪士尼频道(Disney Channel)的《长发公主》(Rapunzel)的《纠结的冒险》(Tangled Adventures)都获得了两个奖项。
《乌鸦:传说》是使用Unity游戏引擎创造的，由达内尔(Darnell)编剧和导演，他是Baobab的联合创始人，以Antz和马达加斯加闻名，由Maureen Fan(大坝管理员)制作。乌鸦:这个传说是关于一群动物在大自然的力量下经受考验的故事，当季节的精神将第一个冬天引入它们田园诗般的栖息地。虚拟现实体验和与之相伴的戏剧短片以约翰·传奇(John Legend)的一首原创歌曲为特色。约翰·传奇除了担任执行制片人外，还为主角配音。
